Conceptual support for music

Every year, the Wiesbaden Cultural Office invites tenders for conceptual funding in the field of music. The focus is on strengthening structures, expanding artistic diversity and quality and addressing new target groups.

Concept funding is provided for up to two years. It supports projects that require more long-term, continuous funding. Applications from artists must be submitted online via the funding portal of the state capital of Wiesbaden.

Application for conceptual funding for music

Cultural actors in the field of music were invited to apply for the "Concept Development Funding for Music" program by February 22, 2026, using the link below. Funding will be awarded based on the recommendations of the music jury appointed by the Cultural Office. Decisions will be announced in early April 2026.

From ten applications, the jury selected Juan David Bermudez for his project entitled "Tres Bosques (Three Forests)," which will receive €10,000 in funding.  It aims to preserve the acoustics of three forest areas in Wiesbaden through audio recordings and acoustic measurements. The soundscapes of these areas will be recorded, stored, documented, and preserved; they will also be presented as a sound art installation.
