The Wiesbaden Cultural Office has announced its second call for applications for a performing arts residency grant. Applications were accepted for a period between May and December 2026, with each grant amounting to 2,000 euros. The grant supports creative processes such as artistic research, without requiring that these necessarily result in a production.

Creative processes often require considerable time and human resources, without it being clear in advance whether and in what artistic production the project will culminate. The grant addresses this challenge. It is intended to enable cultural creators to engage intensively with an idea or question and to maintain creative freedom.

Creative artists from Wiesbaden in the field of performing arts were invited to submit their applications via the city's funding portal at the link below by March 3, 2026. Registration is required to do so. The selection decision is expected to be announced at the end of March.
