The Wiesbaden Cultural Office is offering a performing arts work scholarship for the second time. The scholarship can be applied for between May and December 2026 and is worth €2,000. It supports work processes such as artistic research, without necessarily resulting in a production.

The forms of production and performance in the field of performing arts are diverse and complex. Creative processes often require considerable time and human resources, without it being clear in advance whether and in what artistic production the project will culminate. The grant addresses this challenge. It is intended to enable cultural creators to engage intensively with an idea or question and to maintain creative freedom.

Creative artists from Wiesbaden working in the field of performing arts are invited to submit their applications via the city's funding portal at the link below by March 3, 2026. Registration is required. The decision is expected to be announced in mid-August.
