The Wiesbaden Cultural Office is offering a performing arts scholarship for the first time. The scholarship can be applied for for a period of two months between September and December 2025 and includes 2,000 euros each. Working processes such as artistic research are supported without necessarily resulting in a production.

The forms of production and presentation in the performing arts are diverse and complex. Creative processes often require a great deal of time and personnel resources, without it being possible to foresee whether the project will result in an artistic production or not. The scholarship addresses this challenge and is intended to enable artists to work intensively on an idea or issue and to retain creative freedom.

Wiesbaden-based creative artists from the performing arts are invited to submit their application via the city's funding portal at the link below by July 20, 2025. Registration is required for this. The decision is expected to be announced in mid-August.
