Painting, drawing, collage, urban sketching

The Kunstwerkstatt is a studio community in the center of Wiesbaden. Katja Rosenberg has been offering courses in small groups in the bright and friendly studio space and other locations since 2007. If you want to learn drawing and sketching, this is the right place for you. Watercolor and acrylic painting, mixed media and collage are further focal points. In addition to teaching painting techniques, the focus is on finding ideas and exploring pictorial themes and composition. Approaches to representational and non-representational painting are taught. Materials are provided so that different techniques can be tried out. There are ongoing and individually bookable courses for beginners and advanced students, as well as urban sketching and plein air in the summer. Online and weekend courses complete the program.

After many years as a freelance designer and illustrator, Katja Rosenberg fulfilled her wish to devote herself entirely to fine art and art education in 2010. She regularly shows her work at the Tatorte Kunst event and in exhibitions.
