CDP Members of the European Parliament
On June 20, 1980, the members of the Association of Christian Democratic Parties (CDP) of the European Parliament signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.
On June 20, 1980, the CDU Wiesbaden held its first party conference with a focus on Europe. The delegates analysed and discussed ways of making the European Community more transparent and giving local party organizations more influence.
To support the European character of the party conference, representatives of the Association of Christian Democratic Parties in the European Parliament took part in the conference.
The newly elected Lord Mayor Georg-Berndt Oschatz took the opportunity to welcome his party colleagues to the town hall. He praised the commitment of the Wiesbaden CDU and the members of the European Parliament to a peaceful, united Europe.
The delegates expressed their thanks for the friendly welcome and the good organization in the spa town and then signed the town's Golden Book.
