Charles Palmaro

On May 19, 1953, the Mayor of Monaco, Charles Palmaro, signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

In May 1953, the Lord Mayor of Monaco, Palmaro, visited the spa town as a guest of Wiesbaden Mayor Kluge.

At a festive reception in the town hall on May 19, the Monegasque explained that he felt at home in Wiesbaden, not least because of the casino. He had enjoyed his time in the city and would take many memories and experiences with him, both in political, social and cultural terms.

He then signed the city's Golden Book and received the penholder as a memento of his visit.
