On the occasion of the National Olympic Committee's festive academy at the Schwarzer Bock Hotel, Mayor Buch invited the participants to the town hall.

At this reception, the Minister Presidents of Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, Zinn and Altmeier, as well as the President of the German Sports Federation, Daume, signed the city's Golden Book. The entries were complemented by the signatures of Professors Diem and Bock as well as the Director Ritter von Halt, the State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior Anders and the Hessian Minister of Culture Schütte.

All speakers emphasized the great importance of sport for society and the health of the population.
