On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the town twinning with Wiesbaden, a delegation from San Sebastián visited the Hessian state capital on June 25, 2006.

At a festive reception in the ballroom of the town hall, the speakers from both cities paid tribute to the successes achieved so far and declared that they would make further efforts to expand political, social and cultural exchange in the future.

Afterwards, the guests signed the city's Golden Book, as they did when the partnership agreement was signed.
