Congress of the German Society for Internal Medicine

On April 11, 1994, the Board of the Congress of the German Society of Internal Medicine signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

On the occasion of the 100th Congress of the German Society for Internal Medicine in Wiesbaden, Lord Mayor Achim Exner received a delegation of doctors in the ballroom of the town hall on April 11, 1994.

He praised the work of the doctors, who had recently made significant progress in the fight against colon cancer, the second most common type of cancer in Germany with 25,000 victims every year.

After Hans Peter Schuster had been specially honored as long-standing Deputy Chairman and Klaus Miehlke for his many years of service to the German Society of Internal Medicine, the doctors signed the city's Golden Book.
