Meeting of the Convention of German Freemasons

On October 15, 1966, the Board of the Convention of German Freemasonry signed the Golden Book of the City of Wiesbaden.

The Convention of German Freemasonry took place in Wiesbaden from October 14 to 16, 1966.

The ideals of this ethical association, which aims to contribute to more humane behavior by constantly working on itself, are freedom, equality, brotherhood, tolerance and humanity. Lord Mayor Buch focused on these honorable goals in his speech at a reception of the Masters of the Chair of the German Lodges on October 15 in the ballroom of the town hall. He also thanked the Freemasons for choosing Wiesbaden as the venue for the event.

The guests expressed their gratitude for the kind words and praised the spa town as a flourishing example of their ideals. Afterwards, the German Masters and their international companions from Belgium, France and the Netherlands, among others, signed the city's Golden Book.
