On October 25, 2003, a delegation from Montreux visited the Hessian state capital to mark the 50th anniversary of the city's friendship with Wiesbaden.

At a festive reception in the ballroom of the town hall, the speakers from both cities paid tribute to the successes to date and declared their intention to make further efforts to expand political, social and cultural exchange in the future.

Afterwards, the guests signed the city's Golden Book, as they did when the partnership agreement was signed.
