World Congress of Tent Hikers
On July 30, 1937, the President of the International Federation of Camping Clubs signed the city of Wiesbaden's Golden Book.
The World Congress of Campers took place in Wiesbaden from July 30 to August 16, 1937. This international association of campers campaigned for the preservation of the environment in order to find rest and relaxation in free, untouched nature.
At various events, including at Biebrich Palace, participants from all over the world discussed how to spread their cause.
At a reception in the town hall in honor of the international movement, the President of the International Federation of Camping Clubs signed the city's Golden Book.
