Our mission and goal as a municipal job center for job seekers is to enable people who rely on our financial assistance to live with dignity, to strengthen their sense of personal responsibility, and to help them support themselves through their own resources and efforts.
If you are currently unable to independently cover your living expenses—and, if applicable, those of your family members within a household (benefit community) because you and/or your family members have insufficient income or no income at all, and your assets are also insufficient, you have the option to apply to us for benefits under SGB II.
You must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- You are at least 15 years old and have not yet reached the statutory age limit
- You are able to work at least three hours a day under normal labor market conditions
- You have your usual place of residence in Wiesbaden
- You are also in need of assistance (you and any family members in your household do not have sufficient income and/or assets)
