Jagdschloss Platte: Two special visiting days
The Platte Hunting Lodge, one of Wiesbaden's most characteristic buildings and situated high above the city, opens its doors to all interested parties on two Sundays in Advent.
On Sunday, November 30, from 3 to 6 p.m. and on Sunday, December 14, from 12 to 3 p.m., visitors will have the rare opportunity to get to know the traditional house from the inside - an offer that is otherwise only possible as part of events. Hot mulled wine provides an extra dose of Advent atmosphere.
Many Wiesbaden residents know the Platte Hunting Lodge primarily as an architectural eye-catcher in the forest, as a starting point for walks or as an atmospheric place with an impressive view. But the interior remains hidden from most people. For anyone planning an event - be it a birthday, company party, anniversary or wedding - the visit days offer inspiration and the opportunity to experience the versatile uses of the house in person. Surrounded by forest, idyllic scenery and far-reaching views high up "on the Platte", Jagdschloss Platte impressively demonstrates how stylish celebrations in Wiesbaden can be.
On both Advent dates, Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH (WICM) invites you to experience the special atmosphere of the house, where numerous celebrations, anniversaries and weddings have already taken place.
Under the motto "Jagdschloss Platte - celebrate, enjoy, experience", guests can look around, ask questions and gather impressions on both dates with no obligation. Admission is free, registration in advance is not necessary.
