From Friday to Monday, May 8 to 11, the popular apple blossom festival will once again be celebrated in the Wiesbaden district of Naurod. The highlight is the traditional parade on Sunday at 2 pm. It officially opens on Friday at 7 pm.
The Nauroder Äppelblütefest will be celebrated this year from May 8 to 11.
The "Äppelblütefest" has been celebrated in the Wiesbaden suburb of Naurod since 1954.
All fans of the open-air festival can look forward to many highlights in 2026 - such as the traditional parade, the children's program with pony rides and balloon parade as well as the ecumenical church service. In keeping with tradition, numerous wine taverns will once again be open, serving their own cider.
Program on Friday, May 8
4 to 5 p.m.: Clear the stage - children's program on the event stage
5 p.m.: Balloon parade to the festival site, starting at the event stage
7 p.m.: Official opening on the event stage
7.30 p.m. to midnight: Live music
Program on Saturday, May 9
1 to 5 p.m.: Flea market along Auringer Straße
6.45 p.m.: Resolution and awarding of prizes for the partnership association quiz on the event stage
7.30 p.m. to midnight: Live music on the event stage
Program on Sunday, 10 May
10 am: Ecumenical festival service on the event stage
2 p.m.: Traditional parade
4 p.m.: Pony rides at the riding arena on Schillerstraße
4 p.m.: Live music on the event stage
Program on Monday, 11 May
11 a.m.: FCN clubhouse: morning pint on the sports field
2 p.m.: Family day on the fairground

Wine taverns open Friday and Saturday from around 5.30 pm to 2 am Sunday from about 1 pm to 10 pm
Fairground opens Friday, Saturday and Monday from 2 pm Sunday from 12 noon
The parade is one of the highlights of the Äppelblütefest every year.
