The U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden is delighted that the tenth German-American Friendship Festival will take place again this year from July 3 to 7. Wiesbaden is the home of the U.S. Army Garrison in Germany, and it is a special pleasure for the organizers to celebrate the American Independence Day with their German friends.

The entrance to the festival grounds is located on New-York-Straße. Guests can look forward to numerous rides, attractions and stalls. Visitors' physical well-being will be well catered for with food stalls offering both German and American specialties. A beer garden will also open its doors.

After last year's commemoration and celebration under the motto "75 Years of the Airlift", the German-American Friendship Festival is returning this year. This has now become a tradition that enjoys great popularity far beyond the city's borders. Especially in these difficult times, it is important to Wiesbaden's Lord Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende not to forget the long and important friendship between Germany and the USA and to continue to cultivate the good neighborly relations that Wiesbaden has with its American neighbors.

The festival will be open daily from noon to midnight from July 3 to 7. The highlight is the traditional "Independence Day" fireworks display on July 4 from around 10.45 pm.
