German-American Friendship Festival

From July 1 through 5, the U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden will once again welcome its German guests to the German-American Friendship Festival in the Hainerberg U.S. residential area in Wiesbaden. The grand fireworks display celebrating the Fourth of July will take place on July 4, 2026.

From Wednesday through Sunday, July 1–5, 2026, the U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden invites you to the German-American Friendship Festival in the Hainerberg U.S. residential area in Wiesbaden, in the parking lot next to the former Taunus Theater. Every day from noon to midnight, visitors can explore and enjoy the festivities on site. Admission is free.

The German-American Friendship Festival is a popular summer highlight in the capital of Hesse, combining the atmosphere of an American folk festival with Hessian and Wiesbaden hospitality. All guests can look forward to rides, culinary delights, music, and a grand fireworks display on July 4, which will begin around 10:45 p.m. to celebrate American Independence Day. The festival offers a wonderful experience for families, groups of friends, and anyone who appreciates and enjoys international encounters.
