Fête Terroir invites you to celebrate regional wines at Biebrich Castle

The Fête Terroir returns to Biebrich Castle on April 11 and once again turns the historic setting into a stage for an evening that focuses on Rheingau wine culture. In keeping with the leitmotif "Home. Soil. Wine." it combines wines with culinary accents and music to create a great atmosphere.

50 winegrowers

Around 650 guests are expected, and they can look forward to an enjoyable evening. Over 50 winemakers from the Rheingau will be presenting their fine wines that evening and inviting guests to taste them. Visitors will not only be able to enjoy the classic Rieslings for which the region is known, but also discover exquisite specialties. Accompanying the wines is a diverse selection of culinary street food stands, such as the “Winzza” mobile with Chef Daniel’s winemaker pizza, smash burgers from the Smashhouse food truck, and the food truck from Wald.Weit Rheingau Hotel & Retreat in Kiedrich, which offers nettle pasta, game bratwurst with potato salad, and spelt salad.

This setting offers an exceptional opportunity to get to know regional wines where style and history meet - and to experience the full range of quality and diversity from the region.

A multifaceted world of enjoyment - motto "Fête Terroir - Home. Soil. Wine."

For this special evening, Biebrich Palace will be transformed into a multifaceted world of indulgence. On the ground floor, guests will find various "terroir" areas, including the "Terroir Blanc" for Riesling lovers, the "Terroir Rouge" for fans of full-bodied red wines, and other stations offering a wide selection of Rheingau specialties. In addition, there will be a bar dedicated to “Rheingau Premiums”—wines bearing the designations “Rheingau Großes Gewächs” (RGG) and “Großes Gewächs” (GG)—the pride and joy of every winemaker.

Rarity tasting of top Rheingau wines

A special highlight is the exclusive tasting of rare Rheingau top-quality wines—hosted by Ulrich Allendorf of the Allendorf Family Winery in Oestrich-Winkel. During this event, exceptional wines will be served in a seated tasting accompanied by French specialties. New this year is the format of the Young Winemakers’ Tasting: This year, it will be a seated event, featuring exclusively innovative and characterful sparkling wines from dedicated young winemakers, accompanied by a winemaker’s snack. The tasting will once again be hosted by Rheingau-based presenter Katharina Höfling.

Program

Once again this year, Rheingau Wine Queen Lena Roie and the two Rheingau Wine Princesses, Alina Bender and Alicia Kunz, will be on hand to host the two wine tastings, among other activities. This year, HIT RADIO FFH DJ Daniel Fischer will keep the party going on the dance floor, and the absolute highlight of the live acts will be the Urban Club Mini Band—well-known and beloved in the Rhine-Main region—with hits from funk, soul, house, disco, and rock.
