Schierstein harbor festival
The popular Schierstein Harbor Festival will be held for the 78th time around Schierstein Harbor from Friday through Monday, July 10–13. As is tradition, the festival will conclude on Monday evening with a fireworks display.
The harbor promenade and the fairgrounds will be lined with approximately 150 booths offering a wide range of culinary delights, amusement rides—including a Ferris wheel—handcrafted goods, and various products. Nearly 70 stalls alone will feature culinary delights, and four local winemakers will showcase their wines
This year’s lineup once again includes the popular flea market, the river swim at the harbor tip, the illuminated boat parade, a fun SUP city championship, an afternoon for children and seniors, and the duck race organized by the Wiesbaden Lions Club. For the water-based activities, a last-minute decision will have to be made based on the algae situation.
On Monday, the fireworks will serve as the grand finale, bringing the Harbor Festival to a festive close.
So look forward to four wonderful days in Schierstein and a sunny, cheerful, sociable, and colorful 78th Schierstein Harbor Festival set against the incomparable backdrop and atmosphere of the idyllic harbor.
