Bears put their paws up
The brown bears Ronja and Benina put their paws up and go into hibernation

Nature has come up with some exciting survival strategies for animals in winter. One of these strategies is hibernation. The body shuts down and uses very little energy, so that you rarely have to get up to eat. In the pheasantry, the brown bears, badgers and raccoons hibernate and are therefore not likely to be seen again until mid to late March.

There are also animals that hibernate, such as hedgehogs and hamsters. There is also hibernation, which is practiced by animals such as salamanders and our Greek tortoises.
