The cemetery is located in the north-west of Dotzheim on the slope of the Weißer Berg. In order to create the planned cemetery area, dense old forest had to be cleared for development, which still picturesquely surrounds the Dotzheim cemetery today. The war memorial erected here in 1928 is considered by connoisseurs to be the most beautiful in Hesse-Nassau.
