Biebrich Palace Park

You could say that without the Biebrich Palace Park, Wiesbaden would be deprived of one of its most charming natural works of art.

Biebrich Palace

Behind the baroque palace, which is located directly on the Rhine, a park opens up which, despite its narrow, elongated shape, conveys an astonishing sense of space. At the beginning of the 19th century, the famous garden artist Friedrich Ludwig von Sckell had the grounds redesigned into a modern English landscape garden - a place where nature, design and contemporary history are still harmoniously combined today. Later, another master of his trade added accents that even earned the park an international reputation.

Castle ruins

In the middle of it all stands the Mosburg, often thought to be a ruin, but in reality a small castle deliberately built in neo-Gothic style. It gives the park an almost fairytale atmosphere.
