• Barbecue areas and fireplaces that are within 100 m of the edge of the forest and in the entire city area are closed; checks are carried out by the forestry authority and the city police.

• Restaurants and allotment gardens at a distance of 100 meters (or less) from the edge of the forest may not light fires or pyrotechnics (according to §8 para. 3 no. 1 HWaldG).

Public events

• Whether public events may take place outdoors must be decided on a case-by-case basis by the regulatory authority.
• Gas or electric barbecues may only be operated if they are placed on an asphalted or paved surface and at least 2.5 meters away from flammable objects - grasses, bushes, trees, etc. - are maintained. - is maintained.
• In addition to charcoal barbecues, the use of other heat sources - deep fryers, rice stoves etc. - is also prohibited on grassed areas. - on grassed areas is also prohibited.

• Food trucks or trailers with a solid floor are exempt from this regulation. The parking areas of the food trucks must be sufficiently watered before driving onto them.
• The parking areas of the vehicles for assembly and dismantling must also be sufficiently watered in advance.
• The organizer must always have additional extinguishing agents - 9-litre water fire extinguishers, garden hoses, etc. - available. - must be kept ready. If necessary, grass areas must be sufficiently watered before the start of the event. However, this must be done early enough so that the rising water vapor does not unnecessarily affect the circulation of visitors.

Environment

• No deliberate burning of garden waste.
• No authorization of fireworks (the competent authority decides on exceptions)
