In principle

• The warning level is always valid for one week and is announced by the Parks Department on Wednesdays.
• Smoking is prohibited in the forest all year round!

Green spaces

• Barbecue areas and fireplaces that are within 100 m of the edge of the forest and in the entire city area are closed; checks are carried out by the forestry authority and the city police.
• If the fire department is called out despite a violation, the costs will be borne by the person responsible.
• Restaurants and allotment gardens at a distance of 100 meters (or less) from the edge of the forest are not allowed to light fires or pyrotechnics (according to §8 para. 3 no. 1 HWaldG)
• The forest fire alarm plan comes into force. A task force of the hazard prevention authorities is convened.
• In accordance with §16 Para. 2 No. 2 HWaldG, access to the forest is prohibited

Public events

• Case-by-case decision as to whether public events with cooking and roasting stands are still permitted by the regulatory authority.

Environment

• No deliberate burning of garden waste.
• No permission for fireworks.
• No barbecues or open fires in private areas at a distance of 100 meters (or less) from the edge of the forest.
