Vacation time is museum time
During summer vacation, Wiesbaden’s museums offer exciting programs for young explorers. Whether it’s art, nature, or creative activities—learning becomes an adventure here!
Museum Wiesbaden
At the Museum Wiesbaden, children can discover art and nature in a playful way. The popular museum workshop is designed for children ages six to twelve and combines exciting exploration tours through the exhibitions with creative activities in the studio. The workshops also take place during school breaks and explore various themes related to art and nature.
Museum Reinhard Ernst
The Reinhard Ernst Museum invites families to experience modern and abstract art together. During the last week of summer vacation, there will also be a special vacation project week: Together with coaches and museum educators, children and teens will develop their own ideas and actively help shape the museum. Admission is free for everyone under 18.
sam - City museum on the market
The City Museum on the Market Square regularly offers family-friendly guided tours, hands-on activities, and workshops focused on the history of Wiesbaden. It’s worth taking a look at the current vacation program, as there are additional activities for children and families, especially during summer vacation.
