Dementia Partner Training - Basic courses on dementia
2-hour basic courses with information on the clinical picture and recommendations for dealing with people with dementia.
Home Instead Senior Care in Wiesbaden has joined the Dementia Partner Initiative, an initiative of the German Alzheimer Society.
In addition to information on the clinical picture, a course provides tips on how to deal with people with dementia. After all, people with dementia need a sensitive neighborhood and environment in order to be able to live at home for as long as possible.
People with dementia often emphasize how important it is to be able to act independently despite their illness. The protected space of their home is particularly important in this respect. For many relatives, on the other hand, this means caring for another household in addition to the changes caused by the illness. They are often overwhelmed, worried and feel that they are not enough. Relieving this burden is a key aim of Home Instead's work.
