Dementia Partner Training - Basic courses on dementia

A two-hour basic course with information on the clinical picture and recommendations for dealing with people with dementia.

Home Instead Senior Care in Wiesbaden has joined the Dementia Partners initiative, an initiative of the German Alzheimer's Association. In addition to information about the disease, a course provides tips on how to deal with people with dementia. This is because people with dementia need a sensitive neighborhood and environment in order to be able to live at home for as long as possible.

People with dementia often emphasize how important it is for them to act independently despite their illness. The protected space of their home is particularly important in this regard. For many relatives, however, this means not only coping with the changes brought about by the illness, but also taking care of another household. They are often overwhelmed, worried, and feel that they are not doing enough. Providing relief for them is a key goal of Home Instead's work.

You can find all the information about the initiative at the link below.
