Every year, the tour of Wiesbaden's care facilities offers the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information from care services, day care facilities and care homes and to gain an insight on site. From June 4 to 18, 2025, Wiesbaden care facilities will open their doors to interested parties.

This year, the kick-off event for the tour will also offer the opportunity to obtain information on the topic of care and to get to know Wiesbaden's care and healthcare institutions in person at information stands.

Sport and exercise are very important for a healthy life and quality of life (in old age). Our health is one of the most important prerequisites for being able to lead a self-determined and active life in old age. That is why it is never too late to become active. This is precisely the aim of a cooperation between the Department for Work with the Elderly in the Office for Social Work and the Wiesbaden Sports Office. The initiative focuses on promoting exercise and prevention in old age and aims to raise awareness among senior citizens and encourage them to see exercise as an important resource for maintaining physical, mental and social health.

The event on 1.9.2025 is the kick-off and would like to raise awareness of the topic with information stands and lectures and make the Everyday Fitness Test better known in Wiesbaden.
