My name is Katja Schultze, I work as a funding management and public relations officer in Department VII and, among other things, I am responsible for the Europe and Funding Management Unit.

I see myself not only as a German, but also as a European citizen. For me, Europe is more than just a geographical area - it is a community characterized by its cultural diversity and the countless opportunities offered by the Schengen area. During my studies in England, I had the opportunity to meet people from different European countries and make friends. These international connections continue to enrich my life and strengthen my understanding of what unites us as Europeans: Common goals and values.

As a consultant, I work on the implementation of European projects in Wiesbaden and coordinate the development of our central funding management. To this end, I work closely with administrative staff, other local authorities and citizens to determine which projects we want to implement, when and how.
