"Luisa is here!" campaign

The "Luisa is here!" campaign offers women and girls quick and uncomplicated support and help in the event of sexual harassment and violence - whether in bars, clubs, kiosks or at parties.

About the campaign

Women and girls often experience situations when partying or going out where they feel harassed or threatened. The "Luisa is here!" campaign in Wiesbaden offers a quick and discreet way to get help.

Anyone who feels uncomfortable or threatened can simply ask the staff at participating bars, restaurants, and clubs, "Is Luisa here?" – this is the signal for support and a safe place to go. All participating locations have taken part in training for the "Luisa is here!" campaign, which was developed by the Municipal Women's Department in consultation with the Wildwasser Wiesbaden e.V. counseling center and adapted to each location.

The campaign is coordinated and financed by the Wiesbaden Municipal Women's Department.

Join in

Businesses such as bars, restaurants, nightclubs, kiosks, and clubs can join the initiative. Training on "Luisa is here!" is mandatory before participation. Those interested should contact the Wiesbaden Municipal Women's Department.

In cooperation with the MOJA association for mobile youth work, the municipal women's department has been offering awareness teams at individual Wiesbaden festivals since 2023. Those affected receive quick and uncomplicated help and support. The awareness teams are committed to safe and respectful interaction at festivals. The teams are made up of trained specialists and are clearly recognizable by their red bags, black T-shirts and purple vests - and can be contacted at any time, including by telephone.

Whether information on safe nightlife, direct support, crisis intervention or referral to security or emergency services - the teams act in the interests of those affected. All festival visitors and stand operators can approach and contact the teams.

Up-to-date information on the teams' deployment times at the festivals will be published here shortly before the festivals.
