Touched by Art - Art touches inclusively
This inclusive project brings together artists with and without disabilities. Starting July 17, the works of the 20 participants will be on display in an exhibition in the Bellvue Hall.
The "Touched by Art" project brings together artists with and without disabilities in pairs. The works they create together symbolize creative diversity, mutual appreciation, and the unifying power of art.
Prominent ambassadors—Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama and Udo Lindenberg—support “Touched by Art” and advocate for the visibility of artists with disabilities.
The inclusive art project reached its climax with the auction of works by the 20 artists at the Reinhard Ernst Museum on June 25. The auction was led by Prof. Dr. Dirk Boll, head of Christie’s Germany.
Exhibition in the Bellvue Hall
From Friday, July 17, through the end of August, an exhibition at the Kunstverein Bellevue-Saal, Wilhelmstraße 32, will once again showcase all the works created as part of the project to the public. The exhibition opens with a vernissage on Friday, July 17, at 7 p.m.
