Youth happens! Youth conference
At the "Youth happens! Youth Conference" you have the opportunity to get actively involved in local politics and shape the city the way you like it.
Wiesbaden remains Wiesbaden? Not if you get involved!
At the recent two-day youth conference, up to 130 young people got to grips with local political issues and learned about administrative structures.
In workshops and discussions with politicians and administrators, they developed concrete project ideas on topics such as climate protection, education and mobility. The aim is to initiate real changes for a youth-friendly Wiesbaden.
The results of the work were also presented to the Lord Mayor and representatives from politics and administration and discussed together. Since then, the city administration has been working on implementing the project ideas.
The youth conference is organized and carried out by the Youth Work Department in the Office for Social Work. It has already taken place three times.
