Youth culture festival by young people for young people
Planning, organizing and running a festival yourself? Young people can do this at the Youth Culture Festival - by young people for young people.
At the Youth Culture Festival, teenagers and young adults between the ages of 14 and 27 can volunteer to plan, organize, and run a festival. The volunteers are supported and advised by mentors from the event industry and social work.
For over 14 years, the Youth Culture Festival has been a participatory project of the Youth Work Department. Its goal is to promote and celebrate youth culture.
In 2026, the Youth Culture Festival will take place on June 13 in the Kulturpark in front of the Schlachthof.
Who can take part? And how?
We are always happy to welcome people between the ages of 14 and 27 who would like to get involved in the Youth Culture Festival.
We meet once or twice a month with all volunteers at the Kreativfabrik Wiesbaden, Murnaustraße 2.
We usually start with the newly formed group in November. Planning for the festival is currently in full swing. If you would like to join us at short notice, please contact robin.lexowwiesbadende
