Creative workshops at the media center
The workshops offered by the media center for 12 to 16-year-olds during the autumn vacations focus on music production - what is the best way to use the computer and different microphones to record songs?
Can the use of AI be useful in the development of song lyrics? The young people will be supported in one of the workshops by a professional from the audio team of "Dein Song" (KIKA). On Saturday, there will then be the opportunity to put the knowledge from the workshops directly into practice in the media center's studio and record a song yourself! Three time slots are available for the use of the studio and of course there will be professional support here too. All 12 to 26-year-olds can use the studio on Saturdays - as well as on other Saturdays throughout the year.
The autumn vacation offer is supplemented by a workshop in which you can learn how to program games yourself using the free Unity program.
Offers for 12 - 16 year olds with a connection to Wiesbaden:
- Programming games with Unity: Wednesday, October 15, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., ten euros
- Creating song lyrics with AI: Thursday, October 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., ten euros
- Insights into music production: Friday, October 17, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., ten euros
The STUDIO SPECIAL "Record your own song!" on Saturday, October 18, from 11 am to 1.30 pm, 2 pm to 4.30 pm and 5 pm to 7.30 pm is open to anyone aged 12 to 26 who lives, works or is training in Wiesbaden. The fee for each time slot is five euros.
