PivA (practice-integrated remunerated training) and in-service training
How about training as an educator in primary school childcare?
If you are passionate about working with children of primary school age and are interested in the educational and school context, then this is the right place for you. Educational work in all-day education is something very special, because the legal entitlement that comes into force on 01.08.2026 means that you can play a creative role in shaping it as an employee.
As the city of Wiesbaden, we are not an employer ourselves, but we will support you on your way into education and network you with our independent providers and support associations at Wiesbaden's elementary school.
Two paths to becoming an all-day educator
- About the in-service training
- About the PivA training
If you see yourself in this field of work and would like to make your own individual contribution to the quality of education, please take the following steps:
Step 1:
Find your training location and get in touch with the relevant contact person. You can find the contact in the list of schools and providers.
Step 2:
Find your place at the Louise-Schroeder-Schule (opens in a new tab) in Wiesbaden.
Step 3:
Sign a training contract with your training location.
Step 4:
You are now part of the team and can discuss school content with your colleagues, your pedagogical supervisor and your practical guide on site.
