What parents can expect from this daycare center:

The parents' initiative Die Rübe e.V. was founded in 1984 and is located directly opposite Biebricher Schlosspark. The parents/members are actively involved in the life of the Rübe. As most of the children attend Rübe from toddler age and grow from the children's group into the after-school care center, they have known each other for a long time and know each other well. This familiarity gives the children a sense of safety and security. It turns Rübe into a second home. In our facility, 36 children aged between 18 months and 10 years are cared for in 2 groups, a mixed children's group and an after-school group. We regard children as independent personalities who actively participate in their development from the very beginning and interact with their environment. Our aim is to promote the physical, emotional, social and intercultural well-being of the children as a prerequisite for successful learning and educational processes. In accordance with our educational objectives, we promote the independence and self-activity of the children in a protected environment. We work according to the situation-oriented approach.
