What parents can expect from this daycare center:

At our daycare center, 60 children can "live their lives largely independently" every day. We live the concept of so-called open groups, each child belongs to a fixed home group, but in the open learning time, which takes up most of the day, the children have a variety of activity spaces at their disposal from which they can choose each day according to their inclinations. In this way, they learn to fill their own (free) spaces in the certainty of the stable environment of their home group. Our activity rooms are varied and are constantly being reconsidered and changed. We currently have the following activity rooms: artist's workshop, role play and theater workshop, building and construction room, research workshop, movement construction site, Mullewapp village for small groups (music project, language development, Bible study), natural outdoor area with a wood workshop. In everyday life, which is often characterized by sensory overload, sharpening the senses, discovering new things in a concentrated way and finding peace for a while in a noisy and hectic environment - but also movement and being active is the purpose of our offers and activity areas. As a Catholic daycare center, we are committed to religious values in our educational work. Other focal points are research and discovery and spending time in nature, which also includes our quarterly forest weeks. The children's participation and independence play a very important role in all of the activities and projects we offer on a daily basis. We want the children to learn to take responsibility for themselves, others and their environment in a self-determined way and have the Clemenshaus-Helferlein, a group of children who provide support in everyday life. There is also a regular children's conference with elected representatives from the home groups. In their last year at nursery, the children join the Detectives, our pre-school group, which meets once a week.
