Our daycare center is looking forward to your child's visit. The diverse opportunities in and around our building give the children the chance to discover, learn and feel good. Based on Freinet's pedagogy, the educational concept has been constantly rethought and further developed. Our basic understanding of learning, education and upbringing is based on "learning through discovery" in a participatory atmosphere. Co-determination is an essential feature of our pedagogy. There is a lot "on the move" in Breckenheim and the indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to be movement-friendly. In 2008, the daycare center was certified as the 1st Hessian movement kindergarten. For us, the forest as a learning and adventure space is part of the holistic promotion of movement. The children are given the opportunity to regularly spend time in the forest at any time of the year. Inside the daycare center, there is an extensively designed studio and workshop area. Free painting, working with wood, stone and clay and the independent creation of works of art are of great importance in our work with children. We, as educational professionals, signal our willingness to support and engage in dialog. In addition, we support the parents of our children with educational issues and exchange information about the children's stage of development.
