What parents can expect from this daycare center:
You can expect a group of 15 curious children who go into the forest every day in all weathers with their 2 caregivers. Every day, the path leads us past the gnome mailbox, where the children can put pictures or small letters in the forest gnome's mailbox and then wait eagerly for his reply. We continue on to the storytelling tree - where fairy tales are told, stories are read out or invented every day. At the next crossroads, we decide where to go for breakfast and play today. Perhaps to the duck pond, the slide hole or the hornet place? Or is it Friday and we're going to Himmelswiese, our forest studio? Once there, we eat the healthy breakfast we have brought ourselves. Afterwards, there's plenty of time for the children to play. Free play is very important to us and also to the children. A tree stump is turned into a stove and the children cook soup from earth, leaves and acorns using the cooking utensils they have brought with them. Others bring in long branches, saw and build, and a new tepee is created. Our educational goals "Opportunity to be active", "Experiencing the world in context", "Following something from its origin to its end" and "Living and learning with all senses" are the guiding principles of our concept. Our focus is on the child and it is important to us to consciously experience and actively shape the day with them. We offer them a continuous, trusting, safe and supportive framework so that their independence can develop and their personal development is supported.
