"MUSE – Muslimische Seelsorge e. V." (opens in a new tab) is dedicated to providing spiritual support to Muslims in crisis situations—such as serious illness or the end of life—in medical and care facilities. What sets MUSE apart is its pastoral support in various native languages, taking cultural traditions into account. 

MUSE e. V. was founded in 2008 as a municipal project with a concept that was innovative throughout Germany at the time in the field of "pastoral care for Muslims."

What makes MUSE e. V. unique is the pastoral support provided in various native languages, taking cultural traditions into account. Volunteer pastoral counselors, specially trained and certified by MUSE e. V., accompany Muslim patients in their native language. The service is available to anyone in need who wishes to receive pastoral care, as well as to family members visiting hospitals who require support from MUSE e. V.

The pastoral care service is free of charge for patients and is subject to confidentiality. Hospitals, hospices, or other institutions in Wiesbaden can submit requests to MUSE e. V. for pastoral care within their facility.
