View of the exhibition with photos

For over 30 years, "Die Clown Doktoren e.V." have been bringing cheerfulness, variety and lightness to children's hospitals, retirement homes and hospices in the Rhine-Main region with their special humor visits. "Laughter helps to heal" - this is the motto of the association.

Through their work, the clown doctors help support healing processes in sick children with distraction, cheerfulness and humor. Hospital stays become entertaining and colorful through the humor visits, examinations lose their horror when a clown doctor is at the child's side. Clown doctor visits to retirement homes create a sense of lightness and lighten up the everyday lives of the residents.

The pictures and cartoons in the exhibition show snapshots of everyday life as a clown doctor. In addition to cheerful encounters, they also show the thoughtful and sensitive moments that patients and senior citizens experience with the professionally trained clown doctors.
