Hospices

The "HospizPalliativNetz Wiesbaden und Umgebung" has set itself the goal of supporting and caring for seriously ill people in their familiar surroundings until the end.

Hands

In hospices, seriously ill people are accompanied until the end of their lives and their relatives are supported during this difficult time. Palliative medicine makes a significant contribution here, with the quality of life, i.e. the wishes, goals and well-being of the patient, at the forefront of treatment.

The "HospizPalliativNetz" (HospicePalliativeNetwork) was founded to bring together the existing structures in the area of end-of-life care, hospices and palliative medicine in the region under one roof.

The "HospizPalliativNetz Wiesbaden und Umgebung" has set itself the goal of supporting and caring for seriously ill people in their familiar surroundings until the end by coordinating competent care and support. All network partners help those affected to be able to spend their remaining time as they wish with little or no pain and without stressful complaints.

In addition to the hospices of the Wiesbaden Hospice Society, the "HospizPalliativnetz" also includes the Auxilium Hospice Association, the Bärenherz children's hospice, the palliative care units of St. Josef's Hospital and the Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinics as well as the Rhine-Main Pain and Palliative Care Center, the ZAPV Centre for Outpatient Palliative Care and numerous cooperation partners.
