Patient Day 2026

On April 18, 2026, the 19th Patient Day will take place in and in front of Wiesbaden City Hall.

Banner Patient Day

From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can find out more at over 60 information stands run by local self-help groups and health institutions, as well as in numerous presentations on various health topics.

The Wiesbaden Health Department is organizing the event together with the German Society for Internal Medicine (DGIM), which has once again put together an excellent lecture program. Starting at 10 a.m., you can choose between different topics in three lecture rooms. This year's focus includes current developments in internal medicine, including diabetes therapies, forms of care in old age, and advances in heart, lung, and gastrointestinal medicine. Social aspects such as culturally sensitive patient care and first aid initiatives will also be discussed.

The exact lecture program can be found in the program flyer below.

As every year, there will be a health market covering a wide range of topics. At the information stands in the foyer and on the first floor of the town hall, as well as on Schlossplatz, Wiesbaden self-help groups and other health organizations will present their services and offer practical health services and hands-on activities. The health department will provide vaccination advice and check vaccination records.

Vehicles belonging to Wiesbaden's emergency services and the ASB Westhessen's "Glücksmobil" (happiness mobile) will be on display on Schlossplatz throughout the day. Active visitors can refresh their first aid skills and take a fitness test.

We look forward to seeing you there!
