"International Women's Health Day" is dedicated to education, prevention, and open dialogue about women's health worldwide. The goal of this day is to raise awareness of women's health issues, make medical information accessible, and support women in making informed decisions about their health. In particular, topics that are often considered taboo or underestimated should be brought to light and explained in an understandable way.

Against this backdrop, the Soroptimist International Women’s Service Club, Wiesbaden Chapter, in cooperation with the Department of Gynecology at Helios Dr. Schmidt Clinics Wiesbaden and the Municipal Women’s Representative, cordially invites you to its first-ever Information and Dialogue Day.

The topics of the health day are:

  • Cancer Screening – What Can You Do?
Prof. Michael Eichbaum, MD, Director of the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics
  • Healthy Pregnancy
    Dr. Katharina Hirmann
, Resident Physician Dr. Christine Schmidt, Resident Physician
  • Endometriosis – Recognizing, Understanding, and Treating
    Dr. Anisa Farhat, HSK/MVZ

Experienced specialists will provide information on women’s health—a topic that remains significantly underrepresented in research today—and will be available to answer individual questions. The organizers have set aside separate rooms for participants to discuss personal concerns. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to have their vital signs—such as body fat, oxygen saturation, BMI, and blood pressure—measured on-site.

The Health Day is aimed at women of all ages and nationalities who wish to learn about preventive health measures and engage in conversation with experts.
