Mental Health Week
As part of the nationwide "Mental Health Week", workshops, lectures and films focusing on emotional and mental health will be offered in Wiesbaden from October 6 to 20.
The motto of the nationwide Mental Health Week is "Let confidence grow - mentally strong in the future" and is coordinated by the Mental Health Action Alliance. The success of previous years shows the enormous need for information and offers of help. In 2024, the campaign week reached a new record with events in all 16 federal states. In the face of global crises, individual mental health is becoming the basis for future challenges.
The aim of the campaign week is to focus on our emotional and mental health. One third of all people in Germany suffer from a mental illness within a year. This means that everyone is now directly or indirectly affected. The campaign week aims to break down fears of contact and involve those affected and their relatives. It draws attention to this psychosocial crisis nationwide with events such as lectures, workshops, readings, films and more.
