City cycling 2026
The annual CITY CYCLING campaign is held under the motto "Ride Together." Until June 20, you can pedal for climate protection and quality of life—either on your own or as part of a team.
Through Saturday, June 20, everyone who lives, works, goes to school, or belongs to a club in Wiesbaden is invited to make as many trips as possible by bike.
STADTRADELN thrives on participation: Whether as an individual, with a group of friends, as a school class, or as a company, everyone can join in—regardless of how often or how much they cycle: Every kilometer cycled helps make Wiesbaden more bike-friendly.
Participating is easy: register online, join a team, or start your own. Then log the kilometers you’ve ridden online or track them using the free CITY CYCLING app. A grand raffle among all active participants offers many attractive prizes, including a cycling tour, a bicycle, a balance bike, gift certificates, and more.
A big thank you goes out now to all the team captains, the many cyclists, and above all to the sponsors, volunteers, and partners!
Program
- Saturday, June 20, 4:00–7:00 p.m.: Closing event with a bike festival at the Dern’schen Gelände
- Saturday, September 26: Awards ceremony as part of the city festival

On the website linked below, you can register as a team or join an existing team. The kilometers you ride can be easily tracked using the STADTRADELN app. The app automatically records your routes via GPS and assigns the kilometers to your team and your municipality.

About CITY CYCLING
"STADTRADELN" is an international campaign organized by Climate Alliance Services and a competition that encourages people to make as many of their daily trips as possible by bike in an eco-friendly way. It doesn’t matter whether you already ride every day or have rarely used a bike in the past. Every kilometer counts—especially if you would otherwise have driven that distance by car.
