The men's 2nd Hockey Bundesliga will kick off the 2025/26 indoor season on November 29, 2025. The Wiesbadener THC first team will open the season with an away game against HG Nuremberg, as they did at the start of the 2025/26 field season. Further opponents in the 2025/26 indoor season will be the teams of TG Frankenthal, 1. Hanauer THC, Rüsselsheimer RK and Nürnberger HTC.

Stefan Zeller was able to nominate two players for the indoor squad, Peter Nölke and Tim Terstiege, who both come from the WTHC's own youth team. Leon Lindemann is back in the team after his semester abroad. Felix Langer and Victor Tschauder were still part of the second team last year and are now part of the training squad and possibly also the playing squad of the WTHC top team this year. In addition, another young and talented player, Benedict Lieb, has joined the WTHC squad from HC Ludwigsburg.

Coach Stefan Zeller's goal for the 2025/26 indoor season is not just to stay in the league. The coach clearly wants to establish the team in the top half of the table and present the fans with attractive indoor field hockey with lots of goals.
