1601 kilometers lie between the two town halls of Wiesbaden and the western Ukrainian city of Kamjanez-Podilskyj. Around 100,000 inhabitants live in the third oldest city in Ukraine, which has developed into one of the most important tourist centers in western Ukraine since the end of the 1990s and delights visitors with its fascinating history, picturesque old town and hospitable population.

Wiesbaden and Kamjanez-Podilskyj have been connected for over three decades through the "Partnerschaftsverein Wiesbaden * Kamjanez-Podilskyj e.V.". Over the past 30 years, countless aid transports have been organized and donations collected to support local projects.
