Coat of arms of Kamjanez-Podilskyj
The blue field of the coat of arms features a golden, smiling sun with sixteen rays. This coat of arms of the city is the historical coat of arms of Podillia. The radiant sun with sixteen rays is reminiscent of the times when the peoples of the world, including our ancestors, worshipped the sky and the celestial bodies with symbolic images on rocks, cave walls, and various objects. Like other celestial bodies, the sun was a symbol of fertility.
