Districts
The numerous facets and many lively faces of the city of Wiesbaden are particularly evident in its districts: 20 suburbs and six districts in the city center contribute to the charm of the city and the loving solidarity of its residents with their characteristic flair.
City center
The "Mitte" district with the historic pentagon forms the center of the old town. This is followed by the "Nordost" district with the Neroberg and the Russian Church. The city center is surrounded by the Rheingauviertel, Westend, Südost and Klarenthal districts.
Eastern suburbs
In the east of Wiesbaden, the agricultural villages of Auringen, Breckenheim, Delkenheim, Erbenheim, Igstadt, Kloppenheim, Nordenstadt and Medenbach offer the ideal environment for living in the countryside. But these districts are also popular for walks through orchards and fields.
Northern suburbs
The districts of Bierstadt, Heßloch, Naurod, Rambach and Sonnenberg form the northern ring around the city center of Wiesbaden. In addition to agricultural land and wooded areas, these villages offer a wide range of cultural and sporting activities as well as a lively club scene.
Southwestern suburbs
Starting with Kostheim, where the Main flows into the Rhine, the towns of Amöneburg, Kastel, Biebrich and Schierstein, located directly on the Rhine, can be found in the south of the urban area. To the west of the city are Dotzheim and, as the gateway to the Rheingau, the fruit and wine-growing community of Frauenstein.
