Biodiversity is the basis of life. It ensures our health, our well-being and our prosperity. Without biodiversity, the natural resilience of nature decreases. Soil fertility, climate regulation and water purification are at risk, crop yields decline and recreational areas for people are lost. These are all good reasons to protect biodiversity in the best possible way - including here locally.
