Working together to improve energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through practical measures, while benefiting from exchanges with other companies and support from experts—that is the essence of effective networking. The Wiesbaden ÖKOPROFIT Club, a network for advanced participants, pursues precisely these goals and has been active for the sixth consecutive year since 2015 as an energy efficiency and climate protection network within the framework of the initiative launched by the federal government and business associations. 

28 companies in the ÖKOPROFIT Club 2026/2027 place a special focus on energy efficiency and climate protection and set a common energy and CO2 reduction target. The state capital of Wiesbaden serves as the sponsor of the Wiesbaden network and is supported by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and other long-standing ÖKOPROFIT partners.                                                      

An energy efficiency and climate protection network is a voluntary, systematic, and targeted exchange of experiences among companies from a region or industry that want to increase their energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and receive expert guidance in doing so. The networks can look back on many successfully implemented measures, workshops, exchanges, and consultations. Companies participating in energy efficiency and climate protection networks increase their energy efficiency twice as fast as the industry average.
