Working together to increase energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions through practical measures. Benefiting from exchanges with other companies and the support of experts—that is the idea behind effective networking. The Wiesbaden ÖKOPROFIT Club, as a network for advanced users, pursues precisely these goals and has been launched five times in a row since 2015 as an energy efficiency network within the framework of the initiative by the German government and trade associations. 

An energy efficiency and climate protection network is a voluntary, systematic, and targeted exchange of experiences between companies from a region or industry that want to increase their energy efficiency and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with expert support. The networks can look back on many successfully implemented measures, workshops, exchanges, and consultations. Companies that participate in energy efficiency and climate protection networks increase their energy efficiency twice as fast as the industry average.
Thirty-four companies and organizations in the ÖKOPROFIT Club 2024/2025 have set themselves a joint savings target for the second term of the initiative, which runs until 2025, and have placed a special focus on the topics of energy efficiency and climate protection. The networking activities were successfully completed at the end of 2025. The state capital of Wiesbaden acts as the sponsor of the Wiesbaden network and is supported by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and other long-standing ÖKOPROFIT partners.
